About Fox & Co.

Fox & Co. Bartending Services was created for people who love hosting, but don’t want to spend the whole party managing drinks, refilling mixers, and making sure everyone is taken care of.

We wanted to build something warm, local, and easygoing — the kind of bartending service that feels polished and professional, but never stiff or overdone. Fox & Co. is woman-owned and operated, Oakland-rooted, and designed for backyard parties, birthdays, holiday gatherings, dinner parties, and the kinds of celebrations where people simply want to relax, connect, and enjoy themselves.

At the heart of Fox & Co. is the idea that hosting should feel less stressful and more fun. A good bar doesn’t have to be flashy or complicated. It just needs to feel welcoming, organized, and handled.

Meet Tove

Tove was born and raised in Oakland and has spent over 20 years as a K-12 public school educator. After years of creating welcoming spaces for students, families, and communities, she brings that same sense of organization, warmth, and care to Fox & Co.

As the owner of Fox & Co., Tove wanted to create a business that reflects what she values most: connection, hospitality, and making people feel comfortable. She believes the best gatherings are thoughtful but not fussy — the kind where guests feel taken care of and the host actually gets to enjoy the night.

Meet Rich

Rich was also born and raised in Oakland and has worked in the bar and service industry for over 20 years. He currently bartends at and manages two local bars in Oakland, bringing deep experience, calm confidence, and a true service mindset to every event.

Rich knows how to keep a bar running smoothly, read the room, and make guests feel welcome. His style is warm, friendly, and professional — exactly the kind of presence that helps a gathering feel easy and well cared for.

Together, we created Fox & Co. to bring warm, reliable bartending to local celebrations throughout Oakland, Berkeley, and the surrounding East Bay. You host. We’ll handle the bar.
